GoHighLevel (GHL)
Embed FormWise Suites inside GoHighLevel sub-accounts and let agency clients use AI Flows right from their CRM sidebar.
GoHighLevel (GHL) Integration
The GoHighLevel integration lets agencies running on GHL embed FormWise Suites directly inside each of their sub-accounts. Your clients get AI Flows right in their familiar GHL sidebar - no extra logins, no separate apps to learn.
In FormWise, this lives on the HighLevel page in the left sidebar (it's available on the Agency plan). If you're a GHL agency, this is the integration that turns FormWise into a value-add you can ship to every client account.
What this integration does
Once connected, the GHL integration:
- Syncs your sub-accounts - Every location in your GHL agency shows up in FormWise automatically. When you add or remove a sub-account in GHL, the change reflects in FormWise.
- Embeds a Suite in GHL - You assign a Suite to each sub-account. End users (your client's staff) see the Suite rendered inside the GHL UI as a sidebar item.
- Single sign-on for end users - The signed-in GHL user is automatically identified inside the embedded Suite. No second login required.
- Customizes the sidebar link - You pick the label (e.g., "AI Workspace") and icon that shows up in GHL's sidebar for the embedded Suite.
Setting up the integration
This is a multi-step setup - once. After this, adding a new sub-account is automatic. All of it happens from the single HighLevel page in FormWise.
1. Install the sidebar script
FormWise's menu link inside GoHighLevel's sidebar is powered by a small script that has to be installed once, at the agency (company) level - this step comes first and unlocks the rest of the setup.
- On the HighLevel page in FormWise, copy the script snippet shown under Install the Sidebar Script.
- In GoHighLevel, go to Settings > Company > Whitelabel > Custom JS.
- Paste the snippet and click Save Changes.
FormWise detects the install automatically within a short time; if it doesn't, there's an Already pasted it? Confirm manually fallback link on the same card.
Note - This is a one-time, agency-wide step - it is not a per-sub-account setting, and it doesn't involve creating a separate marketplace app.
2. Connect your agency account
- Once the sidebar script is confirmed, click Connect GoHighLevel.
- You'll be redirected to GHL's OAuth screen. Sign in with your agency credentials and grant access.
- Once authorized, your sub-accounts (locations) start syncing automatically.

3. Assign a Suite to each sub-account
Now decide which FormWise Suite each client sees.
- On the HighLevel page, find the sub-accounts table.
- For each sub-account, pick the Suite you want them to see from the dropdown in that row.
- Optionally, set a default Suite for new sub-accounts - it's assigned automatically whenever a new location appears in GoHighLevel (existing sub-accounts aren't affected).
That sub-account's GHL sidebar now shows your custom menu item; clicking it opens the assigned Suite, embedded inline, with the signed-in user already authenticated.

4. Customize the sidebar link (optional)
Make the sidebar item match your agency's branding, using the Menu Customization card:
- Label - e.g., "AI Workspace", "Acme AI", "Concierge".
- Icon - pick one from the built-in icon picker.
Save, and every sub-account's sidebar updates.
If a sub-account doesn't have a Suite assigned, the sidebar item stays hidden - so clients never click into a broken state.
How end users experience it
From your client's perspective:
- They log into their GHL sub-account as they always do.
- Your custom sidebar item appears (e.g., "AI Workspace").
- They click it. The assigned Suite loads inline - no popups, no second login.
- They use your AI Flows without ever leaving GHL.
Common use cases
- White-labeled AI for every client - Build one Suite, assign it across all sub-accounts.
- Tiered offerings - Assign different Suites to different clients based on their plan.
- Per-niche packs - Build a Suite for dental clients, another for fitness, etc.
- Onboarding helpers - Give every new sub-account an AI onboarding concierge automatically.
Tips
- Use Suite themes to match each client's branding before assigning.
- Test with a staging sub-account before rolling out to clients.
- Watch Execution History to see which sub-accounts are actually using your Flows - great signal for client check-ins.
- Mix and match - A single FormWise organization can power dozens or hundreds of GHL sub-accounts.
Limitations
- The integration is built for agency-level GHL accounts. Single-location GHL users get less out of it.
- Iframe-embedded experiences inherit some GHL UI constraints (size, scrollbars).
- Disconnecting the agency integration unlinks all synced sub-accounts and removes their Suite assignments. End-user conversation history is preserved, but the sidebar item disappears.
